AGRICULTURAL BANKS
A BRITISH SCHEME. By Oible—Press Association— Copyright. London, February 10. Lord Carrington, Secretary for Agriculture, is considering a scheme for agricultural banks, working through the larger joint stock banks, who will lend at a half per cent, above the bank rate, on condition they are permitted to audit the accounts of the local co-operative societies.
