DESPERATE POLISH ROBBERS. St. Petersburg, February 8. While the police were arresting suspected railway robbers at Clielm in Kus- ' sian Poland, the robbers shot and killed three policemen. They then threw a bomb, killing a passer-by and wounding two others. The robbers then escaped. MILITARY EMIGRANTS. London, February 8. At a meeting of the Naval and Military Emigration League, Lord Roberts presiding, it was decided to appeal for financial support to enable the league to send annually a thousand service men to the overseas dominions. It was announced that two hundred had already emigrated.
