CYCLONE PLAYS HAVOC. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright, Paris, February 8. i A three-days cyclone played liavoe with the Island of Reunion, and all communications are interrupted. DESPERATE POLISH ROBBERS. St. Petersburg, February 8. While the police were arresting suspected railway robbers at Clielm in Kus- ' sian Poland, the robbers shot and killed three policemen. They then threw a bomb, killing a passer-by and wounding two others. The robbers then escaped. MILITARY EMIGRANTS. London, February 8. At a meeting of the Naval and Military Emigration League, Lord Roberts presiding, it was decided to appeal for financial support to enable the league to send annually a thousand service men to the overseas dominions. It was announced that two hundred had already emigrated.
