THE DAVIS CUP. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 8, 10.40 p.m. < Sydney, February 8. The secretary of the Australasian Tennis Association has received a cable from the president of the United States National Tennis Association, challenging for the Davis Cup. No English challenge has yet been received, but the entries do not close till the first Monday in March. , In the event ol England not challenging, the Americans will play the preliminary in New Zealand.
