ANOTHER BENZINE EXPLOSION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Marlon, Wednesday. Richard Hamilton Miles, the three-year-old son of ,1. 11. Miles, solicitor, was burnt to death yesterday afternoon through a tin of benzine catching fire and being upset over him. Fred Avis, in attempting lo have him, was severely burnt about both ' hands. An I inquest will be held this afternoon. | AN UNIDENTIFIED BODY. Christehurch, Wednesday. The dead body of an elderly woman, as yet unidentified, Wits found in a right-of-way in the city this morning. YOUNG MAN'S SUICIDE. Auckland. Last Night. A single man named David John Thomson, a linotype operator, committed suicide this afternoon by drinking Iysol. Deceased had also indicted wounds on his throat, but the- poison was the cause of death. The reason of the act is unknown. DBOWNED WHLIE BATHING. Maafcrton. Last Night John Alexander Mac Lean, auctioneer, of this town, a single man, aged 31, and a son of Lachlan Mac Lean, auctioneer, of Dunedin, was found drowned in the Waipoua river this evening. He was in bathing trunks, and had evidently been seized with a fit.,, . .„,
