London, February 7. The wool sales were continued with fair competition at late rates, and will close on Tuesday. ANOTHER DROP IN WOOL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Tuesday. The fourth wool sale in Wellington this season was held to-day. There was a total offering of 12,700 bales. The entry of wools was good, and much better than the usual quality at this period of the season. The condition, however, was heavier, and many lines carried seed. After allowing for condition, prices generally for crossbreds were one halfpenny easier; pieces were down a halfpenny to three farthings, and locks fell one penny. Lambs' wool was somewhat disappointing; the highest price which was realised up to noon was 9%d, but the bulk sold in the neighborhood of Bd.

There is only a small supply on hand, and New Zealand stocks are exhausted.
