Beef.—flic market, is firm, owing to reduced supplies. New Zealand hinds •3%d, fores 3%d. Butter.—The market is quiet and firm at present quotations. Choicest New Zealand butter 105s, Australian 102s, Danish 115s, Siberian 101s. Cheese—The market is quiet and moderate business doing. White 57s Cd, colored GOs. Hemp.—The market has declined further, and there is little, demand. New Zealand good fair on spot £l9 ss, iairi grade .CIS l()s, fair current Manila. £lB ss, forward shipment New Zealand food fair £l9 ~.?, fair grade £l9, fair "cur-, rent Manila £lB 10s. The output fori the week for Manila was 2(1,000 bales, j Cocksfoot Seed—The market is firm, but demand only moderate. New Zealand bright clean seed (171b per bushel) 73s per cwt. Eggs.—The market is firmer \on account of the cold weather. Italian 9s 3d to 12s 3d, Danish 10s Cd to 13s Cd. Austrian 9s 7d to 10s, Russian (!s Cd to 9s per twelve dozen. ' * : , Frozen Poultry. There is a large supply and moderate demand. Chickens American 8d to 9d per lb. Russian 7y,d to Sy.d; ducklings Cd to 7s, turkeys 7d. AY neat. The market is quiet', and may go lower.'
