Time, smin. The 220 yards championship of New South Wales was won by Redmond, of the South Sydney Harriers, in 22 2-ssec. HOLWAY AND TREMBATH AT DUNEDIN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The principal attraction at the sports meeting on the Caledonian Ground yesterday was a 300 yards race between C. E. Holway and W. F. Trembath for a purse of £SO, the winner taking 75 per cent. The race was run in the teeth of a strong wind. For the first 100 yards Trembath gained on his opponent, but Holway soon overhauled him. and won easing up by about six yards. Time, 31 2-ssec. In the Sheffield Handicap, 130 yds, Holway (scr.) won his heat in 12 3-ssec, and ™ r' 10 final he beat Fis!ler (13%vds) and McLennan (14yds), Fisher was just leading McLennan 15 yards from the finish, with Holway three yards behind.
