ABOLITION OF BARMAIDS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Perth, February 3. The Assembly rejected the Council's amendment to the Licensing Bill for the abolition of barmaids, and reduced the ten miles' limit for bona fide travellers to five miles. It also decided to insist on the restriction of compulsory vaccination in the Public Health Bill in the ease of conscientious objectors. WESTRAIJAN MEMBERS' SALARIES. Received 3, 8.55 p.m. Perth, February 3. The Assembly passed a Bill raising members' salaries from £ai)o to £3OO, and paying the leader of the Opposition £SOO. A PROROGATION. Melbourne, February 3. The Federal Parliament has been prorogued till March 21.
