r SUMMARY AND F®ROOABT. By .Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast: The weather has been warm and hazy over the North Island and northernmost parts of the South Island, but showery weather now prevails elsewhere. Squally northerly and westerly winds prevailed in Cook and Foveaux straits during .\the. night. The barometer fell everywhere, but has commenced to rise in the southernmost districts. Present indications are for: changeable weather and misty and showery conditions extending northwards, and rain may be expected soon in most parts of the countryr* Strong southerly winds and a rising barometer are probable in the south, and westerly winds and unsteady barometer ill the north.
