THE PARISIANA WRECK. Perth, February 2. The harbormaster v;'no conducted a preliminary enquiry into the loss of the Parisiana, found that no blame was attachable to the captain, officers or crew. On the other hand, their efforts to extinguish the fire were commendable. The Colonial Secretary has approved the finding, and no further action will be taken. RIOTING IN CHINA. Pekin, February 1. THE ANTARCTIC CONTINENT. London, February 1. Sir Oeorge Darwin, reading a paper before the Royal Society, said that after comparing Sir Ernest Shackleton's and Captain Scott's tide records he had arrived at the conclusion that there existed a deop bay stretching across and almost cutting in two the Antarctic continent.
