WHARF LABORERS RESUME

CONFERENCE WITH SHIP-OWNERS. By Cabk —Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne, January 31. A mass meeting of wharf laborers decided to resume work this morning, and at the same time the Waterside Workers' Federation will re-open negotiations with the ship-owners with a view to having the grievances settled.

This decision was reached after an intimation from the steamship owners that they intended to adhere to the arrangement which came into operation in January, hut /were prepared to hear complaints through the proper channels.
