SUMMARY AND FORECAST. T By Tslegraph.—Presa Association. Wellington, Last Night. I The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast:—South-westerly winds have prevailed with gales in southern districts. The barometer has] risen over the North Island, and parts of the South, but remained unsteady in the far south. Cloudy and changeable wea-J ther has been experienced generally, but stormy conditions have prevailed about Foveaux Strait. Present indications are , for moderate to strong westerly winds generally, and squally in the south.'The barometer will probably rise slowljrjjn the north, and remain unsteady in the south, rising and falling again shortly. The weather will probably be cloudy and unsettled at times in most parts of the country, and showery in the south and on the West Coast.
