RUSSIAN WORKMEN ALARMED. WANT FREE PASSES HOME. By Cftble—Press Association—Copyright. Received 30, 9.15 p.m. Pekin, January 30. Three thousand Russian workmen on the Eastern Chinese railway, fearing plague, struck because the administration refused to dismiss 1500 Chinese and give passes and repatriate Russian families. The strikers and their families were evicted from their dwellings.
