SAILED. Newcastle, Monday. Sailed, Clan Shaw, for Dunedin; Pleone, for Timaru; Wairuna, for Gisborne; Jessie Craig, for New Zealand. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga yesterday morning and brought 100 tons of cargo, including 25 tons of cement, 11 tons of sugar, 4 tons of flour, and 460 cases of fruit.
Captain Norbury, of the Rarawa, goes on holiday leave to-morrow. His place will be filled by Captain E. Stephenson. ; The new vessel now being built at Newcastle-on-Tyne for the East Coast Steamship Co. for the Tauranga trade will have a deadweight capacity of 500 tons, and accommodation for 30 saloon and 15 steerage passengers. She is to have a speed of 14 knots. It is proposed to develop trade between Auckland, Tauranga, Gisborne, Napier and Wellington.
