SUMMARY AND FORECAST. 1 By Telegraph.—Press Association. 7 Wellington, Last Night. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast:—Though conditions have been stormy in both northern and southern-most districts, the weather has been generally mild and changeable. Moderate south-westerly gales are also now reported on the West Coast of the South Island, and rain on the east coasts of both islands. The glass has fallen everywhere. Present indications are for rain in most parts of the country, with southerly and westerly winds prevailing, strong to gale. The barometer will probably rise slowly everywhere.
