Wheat.—The markets are quiet, and there is restricted demand for cargoes; holders are steady; 37s is asked and 30s Gd is obtainable for South Australian oh' coast; 30s is asked for Australian per steamer January-February shipment, and 30s 3d for Victorian; 35s l'/od was paid for Australian parcels JanuaryFebruary shipment. There is small demand for Australian spot at 37s l'/od; a cargo sold at 30s 7>/ 2 d. Flour. —Steady, but inactive. Oats.—Quiet; La Plata March-April shipment 13s 3d. Copper.-—Spot £55 ss; three months £55 16s 3d; electrolytic, £56 12s 6d. Tin.—Spot £195. Lead, £l2 Is 3d. Spelter, £23 8s 9d. Iron, 49s 4d.
Sugar.—German fls, first marks lis. Bradford wool.—Cheerful and. hardening; forties other classes unchanged. At the wool sales crossbreds were unchanged, but merinos had a spirited sale, the Continental and Home trade bidding freelv. Silver, 24 7-16 d.
