A motion that full rights of citizenship be granted to women received a majority of one vote, but was lost, as it required a two-thirds majority. A motion to limit election expenses to £IOO was negatived. It was decided that the hours for voting at parliamentary elections snould be extended. A DISCUSSION IN CAMERA. Received 28, 12.5 a.m. Sydney, January 27. The Labor Conference is discussing the Commonwealth referenda proposals in camera.
