THE TARAXAKI COMPANY. Good news ccmes from Xo. 3 bore of the Taranaki Company, which has now been drilled to a depth of 3370 feet. The drill is now in an improved stratum, and there are fresh indications of oil in tho bottom. The chairman of the company, seen last night, said that this was, in his opinion, the best news shareholders have had irom Moturoa for months, despite the fact that they had a well continuously flowing oil for over a year past. The drilling at Xo. 5 progresses satisfactorily. The drill is still piercing the papa formation, at a depth of 410 feet.
