SHOT HIS FATHER DEAD
A STRANGE STATEMENT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright New York, January 25. John Drost, a farm hand, shot his father dead. When he was arrested at Northben, Washington State, he said: "I shot him because I am Americanised. If we had still lived in Holland I would not have done it, but here is the greatest country on earth, and no jury will convict me when I tell them my motive."
