PETROLEUM NEWS.
TAIUNAKI COMPANY. Mr. J. D. Henry motored out to the. bores yesterday and made an inspection of the works. _ The 8-inch casing for No. 5 bore ha* arrived, and day and night shifts have been commenced. His Excellency the Governor will pay a visit to the bores this morning. On Friday arrangements have been made to show the Prim* Minister over the works.
The How of oil at Nos. 2 and 3 bores is as satisfactory as usual.
