The International Agricultural Institute reports that the production of winter and sprint; cereals in 11)10 in countries north of the Equator amounts to: Wheat, ],i„.a.«l)(M)00 cut.; rye, 824,000,000 cwt.; barley, fiSIi.OOO.OO'O' cwt.; oats, 1,187,000.1)00 cwt.; maize, 1,802,000,000 cwt. The Institute estimates the cereal crops south ot the Equator at 1-M,0(10,(ltl:'l cwt., as compared with 133.300,000 cwt. in 1900.
