SUMMARY AND FORECAST. u ~ — ' I By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following is the Rev. D. C. Batessummary and forecast:—Moderate to strong southerly winds have prevailed, except in Foveaux Strait, where gale» ihave been experienced, but are now moderating. The weather has been generally fair, except in the southernmost parts, where heavy showers have been reported since Saturday. Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly winds northward of Napier and New Plymouth, and variable winds elsewhere, though principally from the south. Fair weather is probable generally, though conditions are still somewhat changeable in the far south. There will probably be little change in the barometer pressure.
