WAITUI DAIRY COMPANY

SHAREHOLDERS' MEETING. A meeting of shareholders in the Waitui Dairy Co. was held on Monday even ing, Mr. R. T. Williams, chairman, presiding. The Moa Dairy Co. recently took over the output, the factory being turned into a creamery. Mr. Herlihy, ex-chairman of the Moa Dairy Co., addressed the meeting. He spoke of the position of the Moa Dairy Co. since its inception, its present financial position, and generally of the advantage thai, would accrue to the shareholders of the Waitui Co. by becoming associated with it. He referred to the fact that instead of having a highly qualified buttermaker at a large salary, they would have only a creamery manager; the secretary would be done without; there would be a reduction in fuel owing to not running a refrigerator; and cartage would be saved.

Mr. Herlihy's explanation was listened to with interest, and at its conclusion he was accorded a hearty vote of. thanks, and regret was expressed at his resignation from the directorate of the Moa Dairy Co.
