The Marine Board found that the wreck of the Time was due to an error of judgment leading the captain to run too near the shore without allowing for the current, but no further action against the officers was necessary.
THE CORAKI CONFLAGRATION. Sydney, January 21. The Are at Coraki swept out more than half the business portion of the town.
A ROWING PROJECT. Melbourne, January 21. The Rowing Association is pushing a scheme to send an eight-oar crew to the Olympic Games. The cost of sending twelve men to Norway, where Australia once rowed, was about £IBOO. The association believes that there will be little difficulty in raising the money.
