The Daily Mail, in a leading article, and two columns of special news, supports the Commonwealth's protest against the Declaration of London. A meeting of the Swansea Chamber of Commerce carried a resolution of protest against the declaration. The London Chamber of Shipping, representing nine-tenths of British shipping, shortly discusses the condemnatory resolutions.
Already several individual Chambers have protested that they disapprove of the declaration.
