INGLEWOOD NEWS.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Messrs. 'Fawcett and Henderson, grocers, are removing from their premises to Mr. S. Orbell's new ferro-concrete building, which is now almost completed. The final selection for the two tournament rinks for the forthcoming bowling tournament is as follows:—Mynott, W. Marshall, Allen, Sutherland (s.); Jos. Drake, A. Morton, Wilson (s.). The Waitara Cricket Club failed to put in an appearance on Thursday afternoon, so n day's practice was indulged in, the senior eleven playing tlie junior. The seniors won bv a narrow margin after a pleasant and interesting game. Mr. D. G. Dickson, who is relieving at the local .brunch of the Bank of New South Wales, arrived by the express to-night. The Swimming Club's committee is now busy making preparations for the opening cay sports meeting. Thursday next, the occasion of the school excursion to the Breakwater, will see a deserted Inglewood. "All the world and his wife" turn out to the school excursion, which is by far the most popular holiday of the year.
