THE WEATHER.
SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By' Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast:—The weather has been generally warm and hazy, with increasing cloudiness over the South Island, and misty rain to-day in the southernmost districts. The barometer has fallen everywhere to-day and fast in the southernmost districts this afternoon. Moderate to strong northerly winds have prevailed. Present indications are for northerly winds generally, and strong to gale southward of New Plymouth and Napier. Cloudy and unsettled weather is probable everywhere soon, and rain southward of Kawhia and Castle Point. The barometer will probably fall everywhere.
