A MAGNIFICENT GIFT
A CHILDREN'S PARK FOR WANGANUI. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. Mr. David Peat has presented the. Borough Council with 13'/., acres of land, for the purpose of a play-ground for the children of the town. The land is situated on the borough boundary, and constitutes a magnificent gift, the value of which it is difficult to estimate. The Borough Council to-night decided to tall it "David Peat Park."
