A man named Hart, who sold fancy goods at the Horticultural Show on the statutory half-holiday, was fined £2 and costs to-day.' The defence was that he was acting in the capacity of an auctioneer, and not as a shopkeeper. TnE MIDLAND RAILWAY. Wellington, Last Night. An inquiry is being conducted by Mr. W. S.
