WIRELESS COMPETITION

MARCONI v. TELEFUXKEX. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Berlin, January 15. German wireless companies' interests have been merged into a new German company, whose directors include Marconi. This arrangement will terminate competition between the Marconi and Telefunken systems as far as the German mercantile marine is concerned. GERMAN UNIFORMITY. Received 16, 11.20 p.m. Berlin, January 16. The Hamburg-American and North German Lloyds have hitherto been the only German, lines in communication with Marconi stations. Henceforth they will be able to exchange messages with the Marconi and German wireless stations afloat and ashore. Thus the Germain merchantmen now have a uniform system under single control, and soon there will be 150 stations aboard German ships.
