An open Letter from Nina to Estelle. January 14th, 191 1. Dear Stel., Have juts arrived home after spending the day at Morey's. You probably know they have started the.r usual Mid-Summer Sale. No wonder they are advertising it from the housetops—it's really the most wonderful Sale I ever went to, and you know I've been to a good few. You remember that beautiful ready-to-wear frock we saw last week marked 49/6—well it actually went at 25/-. There were scores of bargains just as attractive. I bought a dress length for Sybil who will soon be going back. to college, and I've filled her trunk with enough Stockings, Ribbons, Gloves and Hankerchiefs to last her the term. John thought I spent the money rather freely, but then men never understand—do they dear ? How are you getting along since you went back to the farm ? well, I hope. Do not miss Morey's Sale if you have regard fo» Economy, and when you come in to town make a day of it by joining us at Lunch. Give my best to Tom. Lovingly Yours, NINA. P.S. —The Sale started on Saturday, and must have been a wonderful success. All New Plymouth seemed to be there. Estelle's reply will be in To-night's Herald. Note the' Address MOREY AND SON, Devon Street, New Plymouth.
