The day was devoted to the elimination of the rounds between the winners of the sections in the full rinks, and pairs match. A lull day's play was the result, and a big programme was practically completed. The linals in these matches will be played to-morrow morning. Three section ties were played off this morning before the semi-final matches were played, Norwood (Victoria) beating Martin (Itoeky Nook) in the full rink, while in the pairs Wylie (Newtown) beat Taylor (Auckland), and Pollock (Newtown) beat Fisher (Carterton). Results are as follows; Champion rink, semi-final. First round: Epsom (Eagleton) beat Victoria (Hueston); Onehunga (Mcintosh) beat Auckland (Dingle); Ponsonby (Parsons) beat Rcmuera (Dingwall); Thorndon (Parata) beat Remuera (Paterson), Second round.—Epsom (Eagleton) beat Victoria (Norwood); Onehunga (Mcintosh) beat Wellington (Ballingcr); Ponsonby (Parsons) beat Newtown fWylie); Ponsonby (Walker) beat Thorndon (Parata).
Third round.—Onehunga (Mcintosh) beat Epsom (Eagleton); Ponsonby (Parsons) beat Ponsonby (Walker). Mcintosh and Parsons meet in the final on Saturday morning. Champion pairs, semi-finals.— First round: Martin (Turanganui) beat Prince (Newtown); Austin (Carlton) beat Greig (Gisborne); Williamson (Kelburne) beat Blinktliorne (Masterton); Baildon (Grey Lynn) beat Smith (Hastings); Bell (Grey Lynn) beat Crcsswell (Masterton); Wakerley (Rocky Nook) beat Carman (Eltham); Wiggins (Te Hiwi) beat Watkins (Epsom); Porteous (Te Hiwi) beat Loekhead (Feilding). Second round.—Martin beat Pascoe (Grey Lynn); Austin beat Wylie (Newtown); Pollock (Newtown) beat Williamson; Baildon beat Saxton (Mt. Eden); Bell beat Keith (Victoria): Wakerley won by default from Mcintosh; Wiggins beat Hall (Hastings); Munro (Thorndon) beat Porteous, Third round.—Munro beat Wiggins; Wakerley beat Bell; Baildon beat Pol'lock; Martin beat Austin. Fourth round.—Martin beat Baildon; Munro and Wakerley are all square with three heads to play.
