TAUANAKI .RESULTS. . By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following is the list of candidates that at the Education Department's examination of December last qualified by examination lor Junior, National, or Education Board junior scholarships in the Taranaki education district, or for junior free places in secondary schools, district high schools, and technical schools. List 1 contains the names of candidates taking scholarship papers who passed the examination, apd the names are arranged in order of merit according to districts with the total marks gained by the candidates out of a possible of 800 marks. Candidates iri this list, on satisfying the Education Board of their eligibility in other respects (age included), will be eligible to receive scholarships up to the limit of the number of scholarships available. Those who do not receive scholarships may receive a junior free place. List 2 is a supplementary list of those who qualified for junior free places.
