NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. Ihe New Plymouth Homing Pigeon Club concluded its programme last week with a race from Kussell. Five owners competed in the event, each forwarding one bird, and these were liberated by Mr. Anderson at intervals of ten minutes. The weather was favorable, and good times were registered by the winners. W. Francis' The Governor covered the distance in !)hr 47min. and J. Sparkes' Astraea was second in !)hr s(i)nin.
