A DOCTOR KILLED
MOTOR-CAR COLLIDES WITH A TRAIN.

A shocking motor accident occurred at Wallaectown crossing this morning. A car, driven by Dr. luillarton, rail into the Lumsden-lnvereargill train, was caught between two carriages, carried to the cattle stop, and completely wrecked. Besides the doctor the ear contained his housekeeper, Nurse Young and her sister, and two young nieces. One of the children, aged seven, was killed instantaneously. Dr. Fullarton sustained a fractured skull and other serious injuries which proved fatal half an hour later. Nurse Martin sustained injuries to her arms and forehead, and is under treatment in the hospital, llet sister and niece escaped unhurt, but are suffering from shock. High trees rut off the view of the railway and make the crossing dangerous.
