.«» A feature of the Invereargill Caledonian games has been the quoiting championship. The entry list is said to have been something like a record for Australasia. The results of v the championship event was a win for the redoubtable R. Penman, of Kaitangata, who has practically an unbroken record extending over the last ten years. Wilson, who was defeated in the final, is a recent arrival from Glasgow.
