The executive of the Labor Party proposes to replace the old third clause of its constitution at the conference to be held at Leicester on February 1. The new clause requires electoral candidates strictly to abstain from promoting other interests than those of the Labor Party. The executive claims that the new clause puts Labor on the same footing as the Liberals and Tories.
