POLICE TAKE ACTION.
By Cable—i Press Association—Copyright. Received 4, 10.55 p.m. Sydney, January 4. Acting on instructions from headquarters, the police at Coonambie compelled the soft drink shops to shut on Sunday. In the city since the Chief Secretary's minute, the shops have done big business on Sundays, without any attempt at secrecy, and without police interference.
