THE DUNEDIN CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The bootmakers' conference to-day passed a resolution recommending the Federal Council to obtain the opinion of members of the Federation as to the establishment of a co-operative boot, factory, and, if branches are favorable, recommending the Federal Council to appoint a committee to draw up a scheme. The secretary was instructed to write to ministers and members of Parliament, asking them to support legislation for having all boots and shoes made in the Dominion branded "Made in New Zealand,-' and also with manufacturer's name.
