Blenheim, Last Night. The Marlborough lawn tennis tournament was successfully concluded to-day. In the semi-final of the ladies' handicap singles Miss Nuimeley (owe 15} vanquished Miss Brewster (rec. 12) by 50—45. Bert Griffiths (rec. 20) gained a very creditable win from Brown (owe 10), in the final of the men's handicap singles, 80 —74. In the final for the combined doubles championship, Misg Travel's and Fisher prevailed against Miss Nimnelev and Brown, fl—l, G—l, o—l. In the final of the ladies' handicap singles Miss Nuimeley (owe 15) won easily from Miss Thomson (rec. 18). With the score at 39 —38 Miss Thomson, cried content, and Miss Nunneley was acclaimed the winner.
Mr. Fisher, on behalf of the visitors, presented Mr. 0. Griffiths with a gold sovereign case as a memento and in appreciation of his kindness and generous assistance. The visitors express general delig'lit with the tournament and the hospitality of the Marlborough people.
