MORE BODIES RECOVERED. By Cable —Press Association —Copyright London, December 27. Two hundred and sixty-three bodies have been recovered from the Pretoria min«. THE CORONER'S INQUIRY. WORKERS' COMPLAINTS OF GAS. Received 28, 11 p.m. London, December 28. Distressing scenes occurred at the funeral of the Bolton victims. So numerous were they that the funeral was continued after dark. At the inquest the Coroner asked each witness whether -the deceased had complained regarding the mine. The majority replied in the negative, but several recalled complaints made about the presence of gas in the pit. Oke, one of the deceased, had returned home sick from the effects of the gas, whilst on four consecutive mornings before the explosion mother predicted a great disaster.
