Poultry, etc.—At the mart on 'Saturday, owing to the very wet weather we had only a moderate entry of birds, and in consequence prices ruled a shade firmer. Chic'ks (young) 5d to 7d, do. (good, strong) lid to Is, ducklings Is 2d to lis 4d, fat Is lOd to 2s 2d, ducks 2s to 2s 4d, geese 2s 6d to 3s. It is expected that a very large entry of all classes will be received on Saturday next. Sundries and fancy goods sold at usual rates. Fruit. —This week has been very busy with Xmas fruits. The season has prov«i an early one. Grapes, peaches and apricots have already come forward, and large shipments are expected this week end.
