RAPIDLY DISAPPEARING. By Gable—Press Association— Copyright. London, December 21. Speaking at the Colonial Institute, Mr. James Bnckland deplored the destruction of colonial plumage birds. Only 52 tails of Australian lyre-birds were catalogued' at this year's London sales. The plumed Ebget emu and blue bird of paradise were suffering similarly.
