FEEBLE-MINDED WOMEN
A BURDEN ON THE STATE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Wednesday. The Hospital Board to-day carried the following motion's That in view of the increasing burden of maintaining the degenerates and their offspring, and the danger to the community from the physiological and moral points of view, the board urges on Government the necessity of establishing a State school fordefective girls and a State home for feeble-minded women with the power of detention in each institution.
