PROTEST FROM HUNGARY. Bj Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 21', 10 p.m. Vienna, December 21. A strong protest was made in the Hungarian Chamber against .the importation of Argentine meat, and it was suggested that Hungary should penalise Austrian products in Hungary if the protest were ignored. M. Heironwini, Minister of Commerce, admitted that the importation should not he permitted to any considerable extent, but consent had been given to Austria to import a modified quantity.
