THE PREMIER ON POLL-TAXES. By Cable—(Press Association—Copyright. Received 2L, 10.45 p.m. Capetown, December 21. Mr. Botha has announced that the Natal poll-tax on natives would continue, but the poll-tax on Europeans would be repealed, and another tax substituted: operating throughout the Union.
