THE WESTRALIAN TRAGEDY

MISS HARRIS' BODY .IHUXTIFIED. By Cable —Pre9s Association—Otpyright. Perth, December 10. The finding of the body of Ethel Harris has created a sensation. Detectives' enquiries show that Smart became agitated when another employee attempted to remove the ashes from the floor of the smithy shed. He also made excuse to deposit ashes there, giving a reason which was found to be untrue. The day after Harris disappeared Smart did not work, complaining that lie had injured his back.

Harris' parents are absolutely penniless, and unable to pay for the funeral. This is being done by public subscription. The post mortem shows that death must have been instantaneous.
