London, December 16. Lord Selborne, in a speech, at St. ► Andrew's, referring to the Parliament Bill, said that the Lords would not hesitate at any effort to defeat the object of the Government. The Duke of Marlborough, speaking at Torquay, confidently predicted that the Parliament Bill would never become law.
