The annual school concert held last evening was, as usual, a huge success. The teachers and children must have devoted a great amount of time and attention.

The North Taranaki Dairy Co., put up their record last month, when over a million pounds of milk. was received. This is a great contrast to 1907, when only something over two million pounds was received for the year. The sum of £1687 17s 3d was paid out to suppliers. Nearly 22 tons of butter was made for the month, whilst for the whole year of 1907 a little over 43 tons was produced. The milk is still on the increase, and no doubt it will be found necessary next season to erect another creamery on the Okoke road.

Like the North Taranaki Co., the Waitara Road Co., also put up a record, 843,688 lbs of milk having been supplied, from which some 17% tons of .butter were made. Suppliers received £1475 12s 2d for November milk.
