A NEEDED AMALGAMATION.

At a meeting of representatives of the New Zealand Athletic Union and the League of Wheelmen in Timaru to-night, it was decided that the two bodies should amalgamate from the present date, all permits previously issued to hold good. The Wanganui and Southland Caledonian Societies, and other unregistered bodiesj are to be advised that they must affiliate at once with the amalgamated body, and all athletes and cyclists may then compete at their meetings.
